The SB Latex Council (SBLC) is a professional trade association comprised of the five manufacturers of SB latex.  SB latex is used in over 90% of the carpets made in the United States, primarily to attach carpet fibers to a backing material.  SB latex is also used in paper coating and other miscellaneous uses.  The Council exists to promote the safe manufacture, use, handling and disposal of SB latex.
